How can we find peace and comfort when thinking about the future is stressful? This Sunday, we are going to listen to what the Bible has to say about it along with a testimonial.
Suffering is real, and unavoidable in our walk with God. But the God of all Grace has promised an end to it for those who have faith in God.
Have you blamed others for your brokenness/addictions/sins? Have you victimized yourself in using of what you are addicted to? Jesus tells you, “Give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow Me” (Mark 8:34b). This Sunday, we are going to learn what He meant by it in the connection to God’s recovery program. And we will also learn a practical way from Step Eight of the Twelve Steps to practice it.

We have been learning how to participate in God’s recovery program by reflecting on how A.A.’s Twelve Steps correlate with biblical principles. This Sunday, we are going to learn Step 6 and 7, “Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character” and “Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings.”
