The world has a “scarcity” mindset: “There won’t be enough!” But God provides more than enough for us, not just to have what we want, but to serve others, for the sake of the world.
Mark tells a story about evil in the middle of a story about goodness, reminding us of our context, warning us of the world’s resistance to goodness, and alerting us to the evil within us.
Jesus bears the grace of God like a river of love and healing that flows freely for everybody– absolutely everyone. All we have to do is draw near, reach out, and receive.
