Is the Name Christian What You Are?

In the Book of Daniel, we read that a Babylonian authority gave Daniel and his friends Babylonian names. But they refused those names. This Sunday, we are going to learn why it was so important for them to keep their Jewish names. We are also going to reflect on the following questions. Is the name Christian my identity? Is it important for me to keep my name Christian in my daily life? Why? Why not?

You Are What You “Eat”

As Lent begins this coming Wednesday, we are reminded of Jesus’ life in the wilderness, enduring temptations and preparing His ministry. As you face life-challenges and temptations in your wilderness-like daily life, where do you find God’s strength to help you to deal with them and overcome them? This Sunday, we are going to reflect on what the Bible has to say about this question.

Why Are We Here?

Why am I here? How is God calling me? Why are you here? Why are we here? Through unity in fellowship, worship and prayer; and through our acts and deeds, our evangelism, we can find the answers.

Shifting the Focus

How can we find peace and comfort when thinking about the future is stressful? This Sunday, we are going to listen to what the Bible has to say about it along with a testimonial.

Being Freed from Brokenness/Addictions/Sins part 5

Have you blamed others for your brokenness/addictions/sins? Have you victimized yourself in using of what you are addicted to? Jesus tells you, “Give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow Me” (Mark 8:34b). This Sunday, we are going to learn what He meant by it in the connection to God’s recovery program. And we will also learn a practical way from Step Eight of the Twelve Steps to practice it.
