People: May we ever protect and preserve it.

People: May we keep it pure and safe.
Pastor: O Lord, You have given us the gift of air.
People: May we keep it pure and fresh.
Pastor: O Lord, You have given us the gift of plants and trees.
People: May we ever use and protect them justly.
Pastor: O Lord, You have given us the gift of birds and animals.
People: May we preserve and enjoy them.
Pastor: O Lord, You have given us care of the earth.
All: O Lord, we accept the care of these gifts as our sacred stewardship. Amen.

This Sunday is Earth Day Sunday. We are going to listen to what the Bible has to say about God’s call for us to the stewardship of God’s creation.
