Below, you will find a brief description of some of our music programs.

The Chancel Choir
Kim Ward directs the Chancel Choir. Our Chancel Choir sings bi-weekly at the 10:30 a.m. services. Chancel Choir rehearsals are held throughout the school year on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. We also have an additional rehearsal every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:30am for those who are unable to come on Thursday evenings. The Cherub Choir
St Matthews is proud of our very own Cherub Choir. We love to use our voices to praise God in simple, fun songs! Children K-4 are welcome to join us rehearsing after Children’s Church each Sunday morning at 10am. We sing during the church service monthly, at 10:30. We hope you’ll join us. Handbell Music
Under the direction of Abigail Shoppe, our English handbell choirs enrich our worship frequently. Ringtones (small ensemble): Rehearses Tuesdays, 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.

Organ/Piano
Kim Ward and Sim Spasojevic serve as our pianists and organists on Sunday mornings. St. Matthew’s has a state-of-the-art Rogers digital organ and a Yamaha G2 grand piano.

Pastor Jinwoo is also an accomplished musician in his own right, and it is not unusual to have him playing and singing in our services. In addition to our choirs, vocal and instrumental soloists also enrich our worship on various occasions.
