Giving

Please use St. Matthew’s P.O. Box mailing address if you mail a check to the church or send a check to the church through online banking, charitable giving funds or direct from your IRA. The address is: St. Matthew’s UMC, PO Box 1072, West Acton, MA 01720.

We have three different ways you can donate to Saint Matthew’s electronically. Rest assured your donations are secure by virtue of the fact that our website uses SSL encryption (notice the padlock symbol in our website address bar), just like online shopping sites do.

Methods Fee Charged to Saint Matthew’s Description
Online Banking $0.00 Have your bank pay St. Matthew’s like they do your other bills (electricity, etc.)
ACH Bank Transfer 1% +$0.25/transaction You enter your bank routing number and account number from your checking account (an example is shown on the form when you enter the routing or account numbers)
Credit/Debit Card 2.9% +$0.30/transaction You enter your card number, your expiration date and CVC number (from the back of your card)

When using the form below, enter the amount of the donation at the top. You can choose the Fund you want to donate to using the first drop down menu. The second drop down menu gives you the option of setting up a one time gift or a recurring gift. The final drop down menu allows you to choose either a credit/debit card or ACH direct transfer from your account. After you enter your payment information, there is a check box that gives you the opportunity to cover the processing fees for your donation.

If you ever need to change a recurring contribution, you can do so by logging into our Breeze database and going to “Give NOW”, “Recurring Gifts”, and “Change”, or contact our financial secretary. Thank you for supporting Saint Matthew’s.

We have quick links below to some of the charitable organizations that Saint Matthew’s encourages people to support. Click on the logo to go to that organization’s donation page.
