Merry Christmas, fans of The Chosen and other interested friends!
We have a special episode at this week’s watch parties! On Wednesday, Dec 18, 7pm, and Saturday, Dec 21, 10am, we will view the nativity story told from the perspective of Mother Mary and the shepherds. Included is a flash forward to a time after Jesus’s death when His followers are being persecuted. Mary Magdalene goes to visit Mother Mary and hears even more of the story.
This watch party doesn’t depend on knowing anything else about The Chosen, so we encourage first-timers to join us for this experience of the Christmas story.
Note that we will not be meeting the week of Christmas, and we will not meet on New Year’s Day. We will resume our regular schedule on Saturday, Jan 4, and Wednesday, Jan 8, with Season 3, episode 2.

Do you want Gospel stories to come alive for you? If so, St. Matthew’s UMC, Acton MA, invites you to join us for The Chosen Watch Parties.
The Chosen is the first ever multi-season TV series about the life of Jesus and his followers. This series is GOOD. It has the best portrayal of Jesus and the Gospel stories ever. It has been inspiring hundreds of millions of people around the world, including many at St. Matthew’s, and we are eager to share the experience with you, too.

Who: The Chosen Watch Parties are appropriate for ages 12+. They are free, no reservations required, ALL are welcome. We have attendees from several churches and communities.
Where: Youth Room, St. Matthew’s UMC, 435 Central Street, Acton MA (just off Rt. 2, easy parking.)
When:Begins September 2024 and concludes before Easter 2025. Each Watch Party lasts between 1 and 2 hours. Choose either
- Saturday mornings at 10:00am, starting September 7
- Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm, starting September 11
