Your generous giving to UMCOR Sunday is what allows UMCOR to act as the arms and legs of Christ’s church, moving toward the most vulnerable in their darkest days. Convinced that all people have God-given worth and dignity—without regard to race, religion or gender—together we are assisting those impacted by crisis or chronic need. As we respond, we recognize Jesus in those who are reeling in the wake of disaster.

UMCOR Sunday is on Sunday March 30. There are several ways to give to this special offering:

– You can visit the UMCOR website (https://umc.org/ssgive) to donate directly. This website gives options and also allows you to credit St. Matthews with the donation.
– If you wish to donate by check, remember to add UMCOR Sunday in the memo line.
– If you worship in person on the 30th, there will also be special giving envelopes inside your bulletin.
– You can give online through the St. Matthew’s website. Select UMCOR Sunday (Operations Support) in the drop-down menu.
