Faith is central to Christianity, but its meaning can vary. Is faith simply the belief in certain statements as true, whether in the form of biblical teachings, doctrines, or dogma? If there is more to it, what is that deeper aspect?
Join us on Sunday mornings as we affirm God’s grace and love in the world around us. Our virtual YouTube doors open at 10:15 for fellowship and the worship service begins at 10:30. We encourage you to wear a mask. Singers will not be required to wear a mask, but are positioned to be at least 17-feet away from the congregation.
People will be invited to line up to receive communion if they wish; participating in communion is not a requirement.
Passing the peace will continue to be touchless; offering praying hands or open hands or other symbols of peace and love is encouraged.
St. Matthew’s has been a Reconciling Congregation for 22 years, standing for the dignity, worth and full inclusion of all people, especially those marginalized for their sexual orientation or gender identity. The recent actions of denominational bodies do not speak for us. Only love does. We offer an open-hearted community where people may find their divine belovedness, belonging and calling.
God loves all people. So do we.
