Caring Servants Ministries

Organizing meals and help, visiting people, and most of all knowing that people feel supported and part of the larger body of Christ brings joy. We might be very different as people, but we are all God’s children, and we all need help sometimes. It’s not just about the practical, but about lifting a burden, helping each other get through another day, feeling gratitude, peace, and love. It’s a way to serve each other and be united.

If it’s meals that are needed: any information about dietary restrictions will be provided. You don’t have to be a great cook, you don’t even need to cook at all if you wish to buy the meals ready made and deliver them. If you can’t afford the extra cost of making extra meals, you can help by delivering a meal, writing a card, or help with other needs the person might have. And prayers. Prayer is not the least, but the most you can do for a person. If you would like to be more aware of others needs, this is one way to do that. If you would like to get connected to others, there is no better way than to serve them.

Below are a variety of ways that people may need assistance.  You can sign up here, and/or place a check next to those areas where you can help. Questions?  Please email congcare@saint-matthews.org.
