Beginning Sunday, January 10th
Not in God’s Name by Jonathan Sacks: Join Elizabeth Windsor for discussion of this important new book beginning Sunday afternoon, January 10th from 4:30 -6:00 pm. Sacks’ book offers us the opportunity to deeply explore the role religion plays in fostering the best and the worst of human behavior. Approaching the topic of religious terrorism from historical, sociological and psychological perspectives help us understand what is behind the terror of our times – and show us how to use our faith as a meaning-making tool to foster local and global community building. We will read the book together discussing two chapters at a time. The book is available both in hard copy and e-book formats from Amazon.
